Strategic Membership Solutions (SMS) is an Australian owned and operated consultancy specialising in the provision of high quality, practical and comprehensive advice, coaching and training on topics relating to sponsorship and membership.
The majority of the services are provided by Belinda Moore, specialising in membership, and Julian Moore, specialising in sponsorship. In the About Us section of this website you can read more about how their partnership began.
At SMS we predominately service clients from Australia and New Zealand, although from time to time we undertake activities in North America and the United Kingdom. If you are located outside of Australia and wish to engage our services please contact us to talk further as we travel frequently and may be able to accomodate you.

Association Management
On a limited basis, SMS provides a full association management service. This service includes all the services normally provided by a secretariat plus proactive membership development, sponsorship generation and business development. The result is the same as having your own office with a full time executive officer. SMS currently manages the Australasian Society of Association Executives. Due to our focus on providing a quality association management service we only take on a very limited number of clients at a time.
Public Workshops
We run regular events on a variety of topics that will provide you with useful tools and information. Our events are designed to be practical, entertaining and informative. We ensure that attendees walk away inspired with concrete ideas that they can immediately apply to make their organisations more successful. All presenters use real life case studies and examples to illustrate their points and ensure concepts are clearly understood by all attendees. The interactive and engaging nature of the sessions ensures that attendees are kept interested from start to finish.
