Sponsorship Seeking
For those wanting someone else to seek the sponsorship rather than do it yourself we undertake sponsorship seeking on a case by case basis.
With this option an SMS team member will undertake sourcing of the sponsorship on your behalf. This option is great when you do not have (nor wish to hire) a dedicated sponsorship salesperson and would prefer to have someone come in to work on your behalf to achieve your sponsorship goals.
How is "Sponsorship Seeking" different from "Sponsorship Coaching"?
With sponsorship coaching, your team undertake the sourcing of sponsorship under our guidance and advice. The goal of a sponsorship coaching program is to train your staff to be able to source sponsorship so that, once the coaching program is complete, they can continue to generate sponsorship for you in the future.
With sponsorship seeking, a SMS team member will source the sponsorship for you. It is not necessary for you to have a sponsorship dedicated team member on staff as the SMS team member will work through the entire process from start to finish.
Who should use this option?
This option is suitable for one-off projects, small organisations who cannot afford to hire a full time sponsorship specialist or for those who simply want someone else to undertake the work for them.
How do you get paid?
We charge a monthly retainer plus a commission.
Other than your fee, are there any other costs?
Travel and accommodation expenses are additional. Should work be undertaken outside of Brisbane travel will be required. SMS staff travel via Qantas economy with any upgrades at their own cost. When travelling the SMS staff stay at the Stamford or an equivalent standard hotel. In addition, any costs included in designing, printing or posting sponsorship proposals is also additional.
Do you work on commission only?
We will consider "commission only" on projects where in excess of 2 million dollars from a single event or project is required.
