One Day Sponsorship Strategy Session - This session has been designed for those reviewing their current sponsorship program. It is ideal for those who wish to ensure they are “sponsor ready” but don’t require the additional follow up support provided by our more intensive coaching program. During the day you will create a co-ordinated, targeted sponsorship program supported by a compelling proposal and a targeted list of prospective sponsors. Over the course of the day your team will gain the structure, tools, skills and contacts required to proactively seek high value, long term sponsors for your organisation. This course also comes with a prospective sponsor database.


Sponsorship Coaching - Our sponsorship coaching program is a fantastic option for those seeking to generate sponsorship income while at the same time ensuring their team have the skills to build a successful and sustainable sponsorship program. This process enables us to train your team members on how to generate sponsorship income by coaching them through the process of overhauling your sponsorship program. This program also comes with a guarantee … We guarantee to continue working with you at no additional charge until the sponsorship goal we set together at the beginning is met – no matter how long it takes.


Sponsorship Brokerage - For those wanting someone else to seek the sponsorship rather than do it yourself we undertake sponsorship brokerage on a case by case basis. Unlike sponsorship coaching where you source the sponsorship under our guidance, with sponsorship brokerage we will go out and source the sponsors for you. This option is suitable for one-off projects, organisations who do not have (nor wish to hire) a full time sponsorship specialist or for those who simply want a sponsorship specialist to come in and get the job done for them.


Sponsor Databases - SMS have Australasia’s largest database of potential sponsors which includes the full contact details of individuals working within organisations who can provide sponsorship or partnership opportunities. If you are looking to compile a comprehensive list of potential sponsors who you can target, then we can utilise this resource to assist you. Those on the coaching and consultancy programs receive access to this list as part of the service.


Sales Training - We provide an interactive sales training workshop that will get your staff motivated and upskilled in membership and/or sponsorship sales. This session is designed to ensure your team have a renewed enthusiasm for outbound sales calls, face to face selling and proactive member or sponsor acquisition. Briefing - We are entering a period of time where a "perfect storm" of forces are combining to create an environment that challenges the way associations have traditionally operated. Association leaders need to ensure they are fully aware of these forces so they can effectively position themselves to deal with the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities that are unfolding. Belinda can deliver a compelling and engaging briefing that will provide your team with an overview of the major issues that need to be considered when planning for the future success of your association. Depending on the depth of insight you require, this briefing can be as short as 45 minutes or as long as a full day.


Membership Health Check Strategy Session - This one day strategy session reviews your current membership program and provides insights you can apply immediately to improve your membership results. Our one day Membership Health Check program has been designed to provide an independent review of your current membership strategies and practices for the purpose of identifying and prioritising opportunities to improve your membership performance. After the session you will be provided with a briefing paper that summarises the discussions and recommends practical initiatives that can be immediately implemented to provide a positive impact on the performance of your association.


One Day Membership Skills Development Session - This one day training workshop ensures your membership team have the knowledge to build and maintain a successful membership program. In this full day workshop, your team will learn the fundamental concepts, skills and tools necessary to achieve powerful membership growth and leave the session with a draft membership strategy. This session will ensure that all attendees are upskilled on “best practice” membership techniques and gain insights on how best to apply them. The content includes: The essential membership key skill sets and concepts, How to segment your membership, How to use membership statistics to make informed marketing decisions, How to develop – and convey - a compelling value proposition, How to communicate your value proposition in a targeted way that will produce an emotional response to your membership offer, How to engage members and prospective members in a way that will keep them loyal to your organisation, and the Membership Cycle (lead generation, managing relationships with prospects, membership sales, building relationships with members, renewals and member reactivation).


Membership Coaching - Our membership coaching program is a fantastic option for those seeking to generate membership results while at the same time ensuring their team have the skills to build a successful and sustainable membership program. This process enables us to train your team members on how to create a successful membership program by coaching them through the process of overhauling your current membership program. Belinda will assist you to set your goals, plan how to achieve them and then work with you to ensure that the plan is implemented in a timely and effective manner. Strategic Planning - Our Strategic Planning sessions are focused, interactive and outcomes focussed. A Strategic Planning day represents a significant investment of the valuable time of key stakeholders in your association (whether Board members, staff and/or volunteers). To ensure this time is well spent we work with you prior to your strategic planning session to understand the purpose of the planning session and identify the key outcomes that need to be achieved. We design an agenda that will achieve that purpose. On the day we ensure the day achieves the outcomes identified during the pre-planning process.
